Inside a Little Origins Experience
Every Little Origins experience is developmentally informed and built around open-ended invitations that encourage children to explore, create, communicate, discover, solve problems, and build confidence through play—while creating meaningful opportunities for families to connect.
-
Sensory play encourages children to explore the world through hands-on experiences that engage their senses and spark curiosity. As they scoop, pour, sort, dig, and discover, they naturally strengthen fine motor skills, language, problem-solving, focus and self-regulation. Children are encouraged to investigate at their own pace, building confidence through independent exploration.
-
Process art celebrates creativity over perfection. Children are encouraged to experiment, make choices, and express themselves freely without focusing on the finished product. Along the way, they develop confidence, flexible thinking, decision making, and the freedom to create in their own unique way.
-
Collaborative creations invite children and their grown-ups to contribute on a shared murals, group project, or community artwork. Creating alongside other s naturally supports cooperation, communication, turn-taking, and respect for different ideas while helping children experience the value of contributing .
-
Discovery and exploration nurture children’s natural curiosity through meaningful, open ended play. By asking questions, experimenting, solving problem, and following their own interests, children naturally explore early science and STEM concepts while developing flexible thinking, independence, resilience, and a lifelong love of learning.
-
Little Origins creates opportunities for families to slow down and simply enjoy being together. Rather than focusing on planning or cleanup, grown-ups are invited to play alongside their children, share conversations, celebrate everyday moments, and experience joy of childhood together.
The Story Behind Little Origins
Little Origins was founded by Dani, a Board Certified Behavior Analyst, and a mom of two. After more than a decade of supporting children and families, including neurodivergent children, motherhood inspired her to bring her professional expertise and perspective as a parent together in one place.
Today, Little Origins creates meaningful play experiences where children build foundational skills, families connect, and community grows through shared experiences.
